AKRON — Tippecanoe Valley had only one player honored by the Three Rivers Conference as the league released its all-conference boys basketball rolls for the 2017-18 season.

Southwood, which ran the conference slate at 9-0 on the way to the team title, received four All-TRC First Team nominations and one honorable mention pick.

Sophomore guard Tanner Trippiedi was named All-TRC Honorable Mention after leading Valley in points per game with 11, assists per game with an average of 2.2 and steals per game with 1.7 a night. He also led the Vikings in minutes played with an average of 28.4 per outing. The Vikings finished in a tie for eighth place in the TRC team standings with a record of 2-7 alongside Northfield.

Manchester was given three first team selections and one HM nomination after finishing 6-3 in conference play, tied with Peru for third place. Koehl Fluke, and Mason and Weston Hamby were All-TRC First Team, and Brayden Casper was honorable mention for the Squires.

Whitko had one player, River West, make the first team, and Spencer Sroufe was tabbed for HM recognition for the Wildcats, who finished 5-4 behind Manchester and Peru.
