Warsaw Soccer Standout Shipley Headed To Findlay
WARSAW – After helping lead the Warsaw girls soccer program as a four-year starter, senior standout Brenna Shipley has chosen Findlay University to continue her education and soccer career.
Shipley, who started every match through all four seasons, was an instrumental part of three sectional championships and a Northern Lakes Conference title earned by the Tiger soccer program. This past year, Shipley helped guide Warsaw to the regional championship, finishing her career with 11 goals and 15 assists.
With her tremendous efforts and play on the field, Shipley was honored with being named to the All-Northern Lakes Conference squad three times, All District twice, and she was named Academic All-State her senior season.
While making her presence known on the pitch, Shipley also helped by making an impact in the community, working as a volunteer with Agitas, the Feed My Starving Children program, and she served on a missions trip with World Compassion Network.
Shipley also reached her goals in the classroom as well. A member of National Honor Society, Shipley earned a tremendous 12.07 GPA while enrolled in a number of dual credit and advanced courses.
Intending to study nursing, Shipley will compete for the University of Findlay coach James Walker. The Oilers are members of the NCAA and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
