Old Jail Museum Open For 2018 Season, Many Programs, Exhibits Available
KOSCIUSKO — Do you remember this sign for Petro’s restaurant? The sign was at the corner of Center and Detroit streets and pointed the way to “Indiana’s Finest” restaurant.
Another fine place in Warsaw is the Old Jail Museum, which opened March 7 for the 2018 season. In the museum you will find pictures from early Warsaw and other county communities.
The Old Jail Museum has many programs planned for the coming year as well as interesting exhibits. At 10 a.m. on March 20, the genealogy library will host the program “Researching Pennsylvania Records” with Faye Meyers. April 17’s program will feature county sports with the spotlight on basketball. These programs are free and open to all.
The Old Jail and Research Library, located at 121 N. Indiana St., Warsaw, is open 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Admission is by donation.
