Claypool Town Board Discusses Burn And Animal Ordinances
CLAYPOOL — Business was short at the Claypool Town Board meeting on March 20.
The board decided to announce the town’s spring cleaning dates at next month’s meeting. Claypool usually holds its spring cleaning dates in May.
Town Marshal Ben Sanders was present at the meeting and thanked the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department and Silver Lake Police Department for assisting with calls while he’s been away.
Sanders also mentioned a couple of ordinances. He said that if anyone has questions regarding burn ordinances to stop in at the police department and ask for information.
He also stated that there are ordinances regarding animals running loose in town. If residents can’t keep pets on their property, they could be fined, and their animals could be impounded and taken to the Animal Welfare League.
In other business:

- The board approved vouchers.
The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at the Claypool Lions building.
