Private David Barrett

WARSAW — Private David Barrett, 21, Warsaw, graduated from the United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego Calif., on March 16.

Barrett successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training with Kilo Company Platoon 3230. While in training, Barrett earned the designation of rifle expert.

Following his 10-day leave, Barrett will report to Camp Pendleton, Calif., for Marine combat training. Following combat training, he will attend military occupation specialty school.

Barrett is a graduate of Warsaw Community High School.
