Area Police Reports
Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 7:06 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 8700 block East CR 250N, Pierceton. Police responded to a 911 call of a CPR in progress.
- 10:57 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 9300 block East Backwater Road, North Webster. Eric B. Berger reported burglary. A window was broken in the residence.
- 2:40 a.m. Monday, April 2, 3600 block North Barbee Road, Warsaw. Police responded to a report of a fight in progress. They discovered one subject was in possession of marijuana, cocaine and paraphernalia.
- 7:37 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 800 block South SR 13, Pierceton. Police responded to a report of a custody complaint. It was later determined that a battery had occurred at the residence.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 100 block EMS W31 Lane, North Webster. Michelle S. Kerlin reported damaged property. A fence post was damaged and possibly backed into.
- 12:45 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 600 block West Elm Street, North Webster. Kevin Fretner reported the theft of a car hood.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 8:28 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 200 block North Detroit Street, Warsaw. A suspect was found to be operating a vehicle while being a habitual traffic violator.
- 7:54 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 200 block Argonne Road, Warsaw. Dana R. Cox reported criminal mischief. A vehicle’s rear tires were cut.
- 5:49 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 800 block East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. A traffic stop occurred, leading to officers locating a subject operating a vehicle without a license.
- 3:26 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 1900 block Plaza Drive, Warsaw. Via Credit Union reported fraud.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 2:19 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 3000 block Widman Street, Winona Lake. Police found a subject that was in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
Marshall
Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incident:
- 10:38 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 10600 block 9A Road, Plymouth. Police were notified of a fight in progress at the Pilot Truck Stop. When police arrived they found the victim, Andriy Sosov, 41, Millville, N.J., has been assaulted with a hammer stemming from a road rage incident on US 30 near Valparaiso. He refused medical treatment. Thelore Gillespie, 32, Edison, N.J., was arrested for battery resulting in bodily injury.
