Strong Winds And Cold Temps Lead To Scarce Turnout At First Friday Event
WARSAW — Unseasonably cold temperatures, strong winds and snow led to a dismal turnout at April’s first Friday event on Friday, April 6.
Although numerous activities and events were scheduled, many were shut down early. Tents were dismantled and road blocks were being removed, with the entire downtown area nearly empty by 7:45 p.m.
First Friday attractions included Echoes of the Past Tractor Club, new generation farm tractors, a sprint car showcase, motorcycle alley, Fort Wayne Soccer Shots, a petting zoo provided by Indiana Pony Parties of Larwill and Feather and Fur Bible Tails among others.
April’s First Friday event was sponsored by the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, Warsaw Party Rental and Warsaw Community Development Corporation.
