Kosciusko

Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

4:11 p.m. Sunday, April 8, North CR 100E and East CR 1250N, Milford. Driver: Eric Miller, 25, CR 21, New Paris. Miller lost control of his vehicle, which left the roadway and struck an open ditch. A passenger, Justin Yoder, Milford, was in the back of the vehicle which did not have seats. Yoder was transported for injuries and Miller was transported for a blood draw. Damages up to $10,000.

2:14 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 3294 East US 30, Warsaw. Driver: Jeffrey Rohrer, 54, West CR 600S, Claypool. Rohrer backed his vehicle out of a parking space and struck a parked car registered to Thomas Sterling. Damages up to $5,000.

5:55 a.m. Thursday, April 5, South Packerton Road and East CR 900S, Claypool. Drivers: John Jayne, 25, SR 13, North Manchester, and David Jimenez, 43, Parke Avenue, North Manchester. Jayne’s vehicle crossed the center line and struck Jimenez’s vehicle, which was pulling an RV trailer. Damages up to $100,000.

Warsaw

Officers from the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

3:58 p.m. Sunday, April 8, Us 30 and PArker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Andrew Horn, 49, CR 225S, Warsaw, and Dale Bunn, 60, Wheatfield Court, Churubusco. Both vehicles continued into the intersection and collided. Both Bunn and a witness claimed that Horn ran a red light. Horn left the scene of the accident. Damages up to $5,000.

9:42 a.m. Sunday, April 8, 315 N. Detroit St., Warsaw. Drivers: Charles Lynch, 53, Bass Street, Warsaw, and Jason Assesltine, 45, Choteau MT. Lynch’s floor mat got stuck behind his brake pedal, causing him to rear-end Assesltine’s vehicle.  Damages up to $5,000.

4 p.m. Friday, April 6, SR 25 and Austin Drive, Warsaw, Drivers: Zakary Elliott, 20, Winona Avenue, Warsaw, and Michael Davenport, 48, First Road, Plymouth. Elliot fell asleep at the wheel and crossed the centerline, causing the vehicles to collide. Damages up to $25,000.

10:55 a.m. Friday, April 6, 823 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw. Driver: Roger Snider, 51, Tillman Road, Monroeville. Snider was turning out of the gas pump area and sideswiped a parked vehicle. The registered owner of the parked vehicle was not listed. Damages up to $10,000.
