Young Princesses Enjoy A Party With Cinderella
SYRACUSE — A plethora of princesses turned out today, Saturday, April 14, for the princess parties at the Syracuse Community Center. Two parties were offered this year. One began at 10 a.m. and the afternoon session kicked off at 1 p.m. Each party was at the maximum number of participants with 21 princesses enrolled for each session.
Girls were encouraged to dress like princesses and wear formal attire. Many girls seemed to choose Elsa and Cinderella to model their outfits after. Mothers, father and grandmothers escorted the girls to the party.
Refreshments including cupcakes and pink punch were offered to get the party started. Cinderella then surprised the girls. The girls not only got to meet a princess but were also given princess training. Cinderella taught all of the girls how to perform a proper princess wave, a few different princess poses and good princess posture. The most important thing about being a princess, Cinderella stressed, is being kind to everyone.
Cinderella then took a photo with each of the young princesses in attendance. The girls were also able to make bracelets and given goodie bags.
