SYRACUSE — Clayton Hicks and Isaiah Metcalf have been named the top students for Wawasee High School Class of 2018.

Hicks, valedictorian, is the son of Tim and Jodi Hicks, Milford. He plans to major in biochemistry and attend Purdue University. During high school he has participated as the swim team manager, is a member of the Academic Super Bowl team, DECA, super mileage team, drama and Wawasee Leadership Committee.

Metcalf, salutatorian, is the son of Scott and Angie Metcalf, Leesburg. He will attend the University of Notre Dame where he will study pre-medicine. Metcalf has participated in swimming and drama and is a member of the student representative council, DECA and Wawasee Leadership Committee.

Hicks and Metcalf will speak during graduation ceremonies at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 3. Ceremonies will be held in the high school spectator gym.
