WCS Students Learn About Legal System
WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office, and Warsaw Community High School teamed up Friday, April 20, to present students with insight into the criminal justice system.
Steve Waldeck, along with his students from the high school’s Business Law and Ethics class visited the Kosciusko County Jail and Justice Building for a tour.
Once the tour was completed the students participated in a mock trial with staff from the prosecutor’s office. The students toured the jail, the 911 dispatch center, general offices for the county business, and the courts. The mock trial was based on an actual case summary and had the students participate in the court room setting.
