WEST LAFAYETTE — Dain Stuck and Ella Williamson from Wawasee High School, were tapped Borlaug Scholars, Friday, April 27, at the World Food Prize Youth Institute. The institute was held at Purdue University.

Stuck and Williams wrote five-page research papers on how to fight hunger in a developing nation and then presented their research to a small group of their peers and university experts. They also experienced immersions into five of the agriculture career pathways and their impact on solving this multi-faceted issue.

The two also had the opportunity to Skype with 2007 World Food Prize Laureate Dr. Philip E. Nelson.
