Warsaw’s First Friday Event Hits All The Right Notes
WARSAW — Despite the forecasted rain, weather was perfect for the Musical May First Friday held tonight, May 4, in Warsaw. Attendance was the best it’s been for the 2018 season due to warm weather and an abundance of musical acts.
The evening kicked off with Russ Weed performing as Frank Sinatra on center stage. Other performances were scattered around downtown Warsaw including Beez and the Rocker, David Haney, Adrian Fraley, Madi Hale and Jerry Kramer.
A large crowd gathered around the center stage as the jazz band Fascinating Rhythm performed with help from the Lakeland Community Choir.
In addition to the musical acts, there was fun for all ages. The children were able to participate in the children’s zone provided by Crossroads Community Church. Parents were able to register their kids and drop them off for a fun play time while the adults enjoyed the music.
On top of all the special activities, there were the normal promotional booths, food and shopping.
