Bell Memorial Public Library Programs
MENTONE — Join the Bell Memorial Public Library for story hour at 3 p.m. every Wednesday and at 10 a.m. every Friday. Children listen to a story, sing songs and make a craft.
Movie Monday, join the Bell Memorial Public Library at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 14. Their feature film will be “A Country Wedding.” Popcorn and a beverage will be provided.
Calling all crafters, join the Bell Memorial Public Library from 5 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 17. They will be making beaded hat pins. Cost for this class is $5.00 and is limited to 20 participants. Sign up is requested.
Bell Memorial Public Library 2018 Summer Reading Program begins Monday, June 4, and is open to all age groups. Sign up begins Monday, May 21. This year’s theme is “Libraries Rock.” The program runs for six weeks, from June 4 through July 13. Participants must have a library card to participate. Contact the library for more information on how to obtain one. All students attending Tippecanoe Valley Schools are eligible to receive a library card.
The library has a number of book buddies kits available for check out. These kits contain storybooks as well as manipulatives. These kits are a great way to get the kids involved and interested in reading.
New books coming to Bell Library include “McBeth” by Jo Wesbo, “The Perfect Stranger” by Megan Miranda, “The Sixth Day” by Catherine Coutler, “The Third Victim” by Phillip Margolin, “The 49th Mystic” by Ted Dekker and “Age Happens” by Jim Davis.
