Warsaw Schools Announces Registration
WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools has officially opened registration for the 2018-19 school year. All student registrations will be online. School corporation staff is working behind the scenes to pave the way to a successful start to the school year.
All returning students and new students are registered online by going to http://www.warsaw.k12.in.us/ and clicking on the registration portal. Staff request that parents finalize their students’ registration by July 17. Earlier registration is welcomed and appreciated as it allows staff more time in planning a smooth transition back to school for students.
For parents who need computer assistance in order to register their student online, there will be four opportunities to register at Warsaw Community High School from 1 to 7 p.m. July 12 and July 17, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 13 and July 16. Those wishing to transfer their student either within the district or from out of the district, should use the online portal to indicate those requests as well. Parents requesting a transfer inside the school district or requesting a transfer to our district from another school district will receive a follow-up email to complete the remaining forms. New students who are transferring to Warsaw Community Schools from another district will need to provide attendance records and transcripts.
Please note the registration process is not finished until the tasks on the confirmation page are completed including completing health information through CareDox. Parents will receive email communications about each of these steps. Fees and invoices will not be generated for seventh through 12th-grade students until after school has started and schedules are established.
