Warsaw Woman Arrested After Overdosing On Heroin
WARSAW — A Warsaw woman was arrested for possession after overdosing on heroin.
Tracy Lee Julian, 47, with addresses of both 517 Gilliam Ave. and 1038 Briar Ridge Circle, Warsaw, was booked for possession of a narcotic and possession of a syringe, both level 6 felonies.
On May 20, officers with the Warsaw Police Department responded to a possible overdose. On arrival, Julian was unconscious on the floor with her son performing CPR. Officers moved Julian to the kitchen so that Lutheran EMS could better assist. Emergency responders were able to administer Narcan and Julian became responsive. She was then transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital.
Julian’s daughter arrived at the residence and advised that she rents this residence and that her mother had only spent the night there. She gave officers consent to search the residence. Officers located a purse in the kitchen that contained two syringes and a plastic bag of heroin.
The officers spoke with Julian and had her describe her purse. Julian was able to identify the purse with paraphernalia as her own.
Julian was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on May 31, with a $2,250 surety and cash bond.
