Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

3:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, South CR 900W, near West CR 100S, Mentone. Driver: Danielle M. Schultz, 26, West Walnut Street, Akron. Schultz was traveling north on CR 900W when a deer ran into the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.

10:18 a.m. Monday, June 4, North CR 700E, east of North Sullivan Road, North Webster. Driver: Jeremy D. Wilson, 33, South Main Street 4, Milford. Wilson was traveling east on CR 500N when a vehicle going westbound turned in front of him. Wilson stated that he turned to the left to avoid an accident, causing him to strike a trash can, then a tree. Damage up to $10,000.

11:50 a.m. Sunday, June 3, North SR 15, near West Catherine Street, Milford. Drivers: Natasha L. Jarausch, 19, South CR 950W, Kimmell; and Jerry W. Conner, 73, North CR 675W, Kimmell. Jarausch was traveling south on SR 15 when her vehicle rear-ended Conner’s. Damage up to $5,000.

11:10 a.m. Sunday, June 3, 10349 North Turkey Creek Road, Cromwell. Drivers: Steven R. Beer, 61, East Quiet Harbor Drive, Syracuse; and D’Lee Bartholome, 71, Verona Lago, Miramar Lakes, Fla. Both vehicles were backing out of parking places in a private lot when they struck each other. Damage up to $2,500.

6:14 a.m. Saturday, June 2, West SR 14, near South CR 700W, Claypool. Driver: Charlotte K. Givens, 68, East CR 150S, Akron. Givens was traveling west on SR 14 when a deer ran into the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

12:23 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 216 South Columbia St. Drivers: Steven D. Burnworth, 68, West Myrtle Glen Road, Silver Lake; and Richard J. Seitz, 73, Old Colony Road, Warsaw. Burnworth was backing out of a parking space when he struck the front driver’s side quarter panel of Seitz’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

11:59 a.m. Thursday, June 7, US 30, east of Old Road 30. Drivers: Jonathan M. Boze, 31, South Maple Street, Pierceton; and Renee L. LaRue, 30, East CR 150S, Pierceton. Boze was traveling west on Lake City Highway when his vehicle rear-ended LaRue’s. Damage up to $5,000.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

3:46 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 15th Street, near Kings Highway. Driver: Jenna R. Bremer, 18, East Prestwick Road, Winona Lake. Bremer was traveling north on Kings Highway when she realized she was on a one way road. As she attempted to turn back north, her vehicle ran off the road, striking a decorative light. Damage up to $2,500.
