BLOOMINGTON — Triton High School softball standout Taytum Hargrave has been selected to the 2018 Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association’s girls softball All-Star North team. She is the first player in the history of the program to be selected for the honor.

The ICGSA North-South All-Star Classic weekend will be held in Bloomington on Friday and Saturday, June 22-23, with a banquet to be held at Edgewood High School in Ellettsville on Friday and a doubleheader to be played Saturday beginning at 10:15 a.m. Both games will be played at the Andy Mohr Softball Complex on the Indiana University campus.

Area players also named to the All-Star squads include Kiera Stacy and Sydney Day of Manchester, Delaney Shields and Destiny Jennings of South Bend Adams, Jessica Buckey of Penn, Megan Welsh of South Bend St. Joe, Jessica Nowicki of Mishawaka Marian, Sydney Kempf of Mishawaka, Miranda Hettinger of Winamac and Emily Lipsett of Culver Academy.
