Warsaw Parks Department To Hold Public Input Session
WARSAW — The Warsaw Parks Department is extending an invitation to the public to attend the Central Park design charette and input session at the Central Park Pavilion on July 17.
With the Buffalo Street project well underway, a few more improvements are on the horizon for Central Park. If you’re a long-time park user, someone with a grand vision or you just have a good idea to share, come and join park officials, guest designers and other attendees.
Park officials will start the session promptly at 5:15 p.m. with a brief introduction of the session and guest designers. There will be an introductory session bringing everyone up to speed on the current status of Central Park and its amenities, the positive impact the Buffalo Street project will have on the park and some of the feedback already gathered from the public.
There will be plenty of time for questions and answers, but the hands-on “You Design” session comes next and will give everyone a chance to share their ideas with designers on paper. The evening will end with a summary of the evening’s ideas, and bringing everyone up to speed on the next steps.
