Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
1:11 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, East Old Road 30, north of South SR 13, Pierceton. Drivers: Clare E. Quinn, 63, Dorset Boulevard, Carmel; and Patricia A. Heinrich, 65, EMS D11 Lane, Syracuse. Heinrich’s vehicle was at a traffic light when she was bumped by Quinn’s vehicle. Damage under $750.
12:28 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, East Lake Tahoe Trail, north of North Lake Placid Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Daniel J. Hartman, 53, Old Dover Boulevard 1, Fort Wayne; and Sara A. Mosalam, 34, North Lake Placid Drive, Warsaw. Hartman was making a U turn to travel south on Lake Tahoe Trail when he failed to see Mosalam’s vehicle traveling south bound. Hartman’s vehicle struck Mosalam’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
5:58 p.m. Monday, July 2, North Eastshore Drive, south of East Cornelius Road, Syracuse. Driver: Steven C Printz, 68, East Pickwick Drive, Syracuse. Printz was traveling north on Eastshore Drive when he lost control of his vehicle and ran off the roadway. Printz tested .21 on a pbt sample at the accident scene. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
11:11 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2888 Frontage Road, Warsaw. Driver: Kaylee H. Koozer, 19, East CR 150N, Pierceton. Koozer was turning into a parking space when she struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
9:57 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, South Buffalo Street, near East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Hermelinda Montufar-Nube, 41, North CR 175E 153, Warsaw; and Timothy J. Torrence, 68, South Julian Drive, Warsaw. Montufar-Nube was traveling south on South Buffalo Street when she turned left onto East Winona Avenue. As she was turning left, her vehicle struck Torrence’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
7:26 p.m. Monday, July 2, 101 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw. Drivers: Jordan L. Pippin, 20, East Madison Street, North Webster; and Kathleen A. Lokotar, 54, South Bouse Drive, Silver Lake. Pippin was parked in a parking lot. While he was looking left, he pulled his vehicle forward, striking Lokotar’s vehicle, who was traveling west in the travel lane of the parking lot. Damage up to $10,000.
4:52 a.m. Monday, June 25, US 30, west of South CR 250E, Warsaw. Driver: Luis F. Rivera, 27, South Union Street, Warsaw. Pedestrian David L. Goad, 28, Winona Lake, was walking eastbound when he was hit by a vehicle, which turned into a Marathon gas station. Rivera left the scene of the crash, but later turned himself in. Rivera was traveling east on US 30 when he hit Goad. Goad sustained injuries to his knee, lower leg and foot. Damage up to $25,000.
