MENTONE — A Mentone man was arrested for child molesting after having sexual relations with a minor.

Jeremy Russell Himes, 21, Mentone, is being charged with three counts of child molesting, level 1 felonies.

On June 29, an officer with the Warsaw Police Department met with Child Protective Services in reference to a child molesting. The CPS employee advised a minor female had reported that Himes had sexual intercourse with her.

The CPS employee conducted an interview with the minor female who stated that sometime after February, Himes provided her drugs and had sexual relations with her.

The WPD officer spoke with Himes, who admitted that on May 23, he had sexual intercourse with the minor female. He further advised that the between May 23 and the first part of June, he had sexual intercourse with her on two more occasions.

Himes was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on July 9, with a $50,250 surety and cash bond.
