Lakeland Christian Academy Students Receive High School Diploma, Grace College Associates Degree At Same Time
KOSCIUSKO — Starting with the upcoming 2018-19 school year, Lakeland Christian Academy students will be able to earn enough dual credits with Grace College to receive both their high school diploma and their college Associates Degree by the time of their high school graduation.
This program is called College Launch and is a partnership between Grace College and Lakeland Christian Academy. LCA students can earn an Associate Degree in liberal arts while in high school and save approximately $10,000 or more in college costs.
The College Launch program is for talented high school students that want to get a money-saving head start.
The program is open to all Lakeland Christian Academy Sophomore and Junior students in good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Lakeland Christian Academy is a private Christian 7-12 grade school founded in 1974 in Winona Lake. Grace College & Seminary is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a regional accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
The LCA College Launch students may still participate in all high school activities, athletics and electives. This program is hassle-free. Once you enter the program, you will be automatically registered for all courses. This program is very affordable and can give students a two-year head start toward their career.
There is still room for more students in this program.
