In addition, students are invited to visit between 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Thursday, Aug. 9, to walk their schedule, find their lockers and learn more about the layout of the building before the start of school.
In addition to these events, WCHS will hold freshmen orientation from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7, in the Performing Arts Center. In order to provide added flexibility for parents and students, there will be two different presentation time slots at 5:15 and 7:15 p.m. Parents need only to attend one of these time slots as the same information will be covered each time. These presentations allow parents to hear important information regarding the school year and meet and hear from key school figures including the freshman grade-level principal Matt Barrett. All incoming freshmen students and their parents are invited and encouraged to attend.
Other class-level meetings will take place during enrichment periods on Thursday, Aug. 16, to provide further information for students in each grade level.
