Warsaw Woman Sentenced On Drug Charges
KOSCIUSKO — A Warsaw woman was sentenced in Kosciusko Circuit Court Monday, Aug. 13, after officers discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in her residence.
Frances Helen Trolinger, 1220 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony; and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor.
On March 23, a Department of Child Services caseworker requested a police officer’s presence while completing a home visit.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, police and CPS obtained permission from Trolinger to inspect the living conditions. In Trolinger’s bedroom, officers discovered a cut straw, a white crystal substance, and smoking device. Two children were present at the residence.
Judge Michael Reed gave Trolinger a one year and eight months suspended sentence to be served on formal probation.
