Golf Outing Celebrating 50 Years Of NorthWood Football
NAPPANEE – For a half century, the NorthWood community has supported its historic football program. A state championships in 1998, six state championship appearances and a host of state and conference supremacy.
To celebrate the 50th year of NorthWood football, the team is hosting a golf outing Saturday, Sept. 29, at McCormick Creek Golf Course in conjunction with homecoming week.
Cost is $400 for a team of four (or $100 per person) and will offer plenty of amenities. The fee not only covers the 18 holes of golf with cart, but also lunch, a staff pullover, a sleeve of Black Crunch golf balls.
Lunch will be served at noon at McCormick Creek with a 1 p.m. shotgun start for the golf round. Sign-ups before Sept. 1 will ensure a pullover.
Hole sponsorships are $150 per hole, which includes signage, and an MVP sponsorship of $1,500 garners prominent advertising space as well as team entry into the golf outing.
