Retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin to Speak In Winona Lake At Leadership Luncheon
WINONA LAKE — Grace College and Right to Life of North Central Indiana will co-sponsor a leadership luncheon on Monday, Sept. 17, at Westminster Hall, 105 9th St., Winona Lake. The event will feature a keynote presentation from retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin, executive vice president of the Family Research Council and former commander of the Army Green Berets.
Boykin will speak on leadership and teamwork, drawing from his experience as a founding member of Delta Force and a featured commander in Black Hawk Down. Advanced tickets are $20. Admission for veterans and pastors is just $10.
Dave Koontz, executive director of Right to Life of North Central Indiana, invited Boykin to speak in Winona Lake. “After hearing Lt. Gen. Boykin’s powerful message, I wanted our community to have the opportunity to learn from his skills and experience,” said Koontz. “I think his message will especially inspire pastors, business and ministry leaders and elected officials, but I’m confident that everyone who attends will appreciate his insights and make applications to their own lives.”
The luncheon will begin at noon and concludes at 1:30 p.m. Sodexo will cater the buffet lunch and Ken Locke, Vietnam veteran and director of the Greater Warsaw Ministerial Association, will emcee.
Tickets are available now through Sept. 10, by visiting www.nci4life.org or by mailing a check to PO Box 1162, Warsaw, Ind., 46581.
