Warsaw Girls Basketball Development Program Opens Aug. 26
WARSAW — Warsaw will host a girls basketball fall league development program beginning Aug. 26.
The program is for Warsaw Community Schools girls currently in grades 4-8. They will hold sessions Aug. 26, Sept. 9, 16, 23, 30 and Oct. 7 and 14, at the WCHS Tiger Den from 3 to 5:30 p.m.
Cost is $50. Players will receive an hour and a half of skill development, followed by 3-on-3 games each week. Players will learn concepts such as setting and receiving screens and moving without the ball.
If you want your child to participate, please walk her into the gym by entering Door 31 at the high school and filling out the necessary paperwork. Parents are also encouraged to stay and learn more about what the Warsaw Girls Basketball Development Program has in store for the remainder of the fall and next spring.
