Warsaw Aquatics Club Fall Swim Begins Soon
WARSAW – The fall swim season with the Warsaw Aquatics Club begins Sept. 17.
New and returning swim families are invited to an informational meeting on Monday, Sept. 10, at 6:30 p.m. at the Warsaw Community Pool. Head coach Chris Lalonde will briefly discuss the upcoming season, swim standards, the upcoming fall fundraiser and team expectations followed by a time for questions and answers.
Tryouts for new swimmers who wish to join the Warsaw Aquatic Club swim team will be held at the Warsaw Community Pool on Thursday, Sept. 13, from 5:30-7 p.m. for kids 5 years and older.
Swimmers must demonstrate the ability to swim from one end of the pool to the other, 25 yards. Times will be recorded to measure the swimmers’ progress during the season.
A copy of new swimmer’s birth certificate is required by USA swim for registration, which the club ask be brought to tryouts.
There is a $60 registration discount for swimmers on free and reduced lunches. WAC will need to verify eligibility with a copy of a Hoosier Healthwise insurance card, WIC card, or a letter from the school corporation verifying eligibility.
