UPDATE – As of 2:15 p.m., Center Street is now reopened to eastbound and westbound traffic with a single lane restriction at Maple Avenue.

WARSAW — As of 1:20 p.m., the gas leak has been capped the evacuation order lifted.

Mayor Thallemer is still on site and advises that the repair is complete and the gas leak is now capped. The evacuation order is now lifted and the area is safe.

Main and Market streets will be reopening shortly.  Center Street will require continued repairs but should reopen with lane restrictions.
