WCHS To Host Homecoming Parade Friday
WARSAW — At 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, Warsaw Community High School will host its annual homecoming parade. The event will consist of WCHS’s official homecoming court and floats, featuring the high school’s diverse range of sanctioned clubs and sports.
The theme of the event, children’s TV shows, promises to be entertaining for children and adults. Following tradition, the participants of the parade will be throwing candy to spectators. Come out to celebrate school spirit, relive your favorite childhood memories and enjoy free candy.
The parade will start at the WCHS Performing Arts Center horseshoe, where it will then proceed to Union Street.
The parade will then turn right onto Market Street and then left onto Indiana Street. It will continue left onto Main Street, turning left onto Columbia Street where it will end at the corner of Columbia and Market streets.
The Warsaw Varsity Tiger Football team will be playing Goshen with a kickoff time of 7 p.m. Homecoming royalty will be announced at half-time.
