Kauffman Medi Spa Hosts Botox Day To Support Breast Cancer Prevention
WARSAW — Kauffman Medi Spa recently held a Botox Day event with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Goshen Health Heartstrings Sisters—a foundation that funds mammograms for women in need. Kauffman Medi Spa offered walk-in Botox appointments. Many patients came for the purpose of the fundraiser.
During Botox Day, participants were treated to special cookie boxes made by a local bakery and decorated by Kauffman Medi Spa staff. Additionally, Kauffman Medi Spa held a Facebook contest and one lucky woman won a customized skincare package valued at $300.
The festivities will continue as Kauffman Medi Spa has dedicated the month of October to breast cancer awareness. A Think Pink Sale event taking place Oct. 11 and 12, will be the culmination of many more contests, giveaways, donations and discounts.
The HeartStrings Sisters is a nonprofit organization with a mission to save lives and provide emotional support for women new to the battle against breast cancer. As part of their fundraising campaign, the Goshen Health Foundation holds a decorated bra contest, which encourages participants to get creative and personalize their contributions. Anyone can go to their website and donate money as a symbol of their vote for the bra they like most. Kauffman Medi Spa has created a bra for this event and encourages all supporters to go vote for our bra.
