Tigers Take JV Matchup
WARSAW – They weren’t playing for a donated trophy, but they were playing for pride and bragging rights.
Warsaw won the JV football game over Wawasee, 32-20, in the Little ‘W’ game.
Warsaw’s rushing attack got the job done, with Jacob Hawn, Patrick Zollinger and Colton Wampler all scoring on the ground for the Tigers. Aaron Greene also connected with Cameron Harness for a touchdown pass.
Warsaw’s defense had Parker Davenport make two interceptions.
Wawasee had Jacob Meek connect with LaShaun Morris for passing scores of 73 and five yards, and also find Kam Salazar for a 67-yard score.
Wawasee’s defense picked off Warsaw passes three times, two by Jordan Grindle and one by Salazar.
