The following are adult and teen programs at the Warsaw Community Public Library:
Mystery Puzzle Contest! Oct. 1-12, mystery puzzle bags will be given away on a first come, first serve basis. Contestants complete the puzzle without pictorial aid in order to be entered to win a $25 gift card.
Friends of the Library meet at 1 p.m. Oct.1.
Drop-In Zone, featuring video games, and virtual reality is Wednesday, Oct. 3. Teens in grades 6-12 play 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and adults, ages 18+, play 5:45 to 7:45 p.m.
Chess Club meets from 10 a.m. to noon every Saturday.
Cookbook Club meets at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1. This month’s topic is, “Family Favorites.”
Sewing Machine Basics class is at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2. This class is for beginners. Register.
Computer Clinic meets 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, and 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31. Bring your device for assistance.
Pokémon Club meets at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10. Play the Pokémon trading card game or bring cards to display and trade.
The Lake City Piecemakers quilt club meets at 9:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12. Participants will learn to make a new quilt block each month.
Carl Mosher will lead a painting class at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15. Paint a moonlit pond in acrylics. $20 covers the cost of supplies. Register.
Writers Club meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday, October 15. Write a story about Halloween, Monster Origins, or Jump into the Middle of a Story.
At Yarn Club, 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, learn to knit or crochet and share patterns and advice.
Paint a trio of wooden Halloween figures at 11 a.m. Oct. 18. $2 cost for the set. Register.
Play Bingo at the library at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19. Free fun for the whole family.
Registered Nutritionist/Dietitian, Sue Delagrange presents her next nutrition program at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22. The topic will be “Intestinal Health”. Register.
Friends of the Library will hold a book sale from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.
Card making class is at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29. Register.
David Kolbe will moderate a Discussion on Racism at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30.
Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to play Minecraft at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30.
