Oakwood Cemetery Prepares For Fall Cleanup, Office Remodel
WARSAW — Oakwood Cemetery Sexton Hal Heagy told board members that preparations are being made for fall cleanup at the Oakwood Cemetery Board of Regents meeting held Thursday, Oct. 4.
“We’re almost caught up with storm damage,” Heagy said, adding that there is a fence that still needs to be repaired.
Due to water damage that occurred in the Oakwood Cemetery office after a water heater valve broke shortly before Memorial Day, repair and remodeling of the office is underway.
Heagy is in the process of obtaining quotes. He stated he plans to perform some of the work himself to cut down on costs. Carpeting will be replaced with floor tiles, and new wall paneling will be installed.
