Magical Meadows Gears Up For Weekend Of Music, Fun And Horses
WARSAW — Magical Meadows, a therapeutic horseback riding center in Warsaw, has a full weekend ahead.
On Saturday, Oct. 13, nationally recognized Christian artist Michael Wayne Smith will be performing a benefit concert beginning at 6 p.m. A spaghetti dinner will be served prior to the concert at 5 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets for the event.
On Sunday, Oct. 14, all of the riders at Magical Meadows will be showcasing their work with the horses at the annual Horse Show beginning at 3 p.m. Riders from ages two to 83 years old will enter the arena and receive a trophy for their work. Baked goods and hot dogs will be available for purchase.
All profits and donations made during the weekend will go to the Magical Meadows to help make therapeutic horseback riding programs possible for youth and adults of all abilities in Kosciusko County. Magical Meadows’ mission is “to improve the bodies, minds and spirits or children and adults with special needs through therapeutic horseback riding. The Magical Meadows is dedicated to encouraging positive mental attitudes, physical fitness, trust, self-confidence and independence to those with special needs. We are strongly committed to community outreach programs.”
