KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Christmas is not that far away and everyone can use a little extra cash, or even Christmas Bucks, to make the season extra joyful. So come out and visit participating merchants for the annual Christmas Bucks drawing for a chance of winning some of the $2,000 in Christmas Bucks to be given away.

The Papers Inc. and participating merchants sponsor the promotion to give back to the community during the holiday season.

Christmas Bucks will run from Wednesday, Oct. 24, to Wednesday, Nov. 14, providing plenty of time for participants to take advantage of entering. Entry forms can be cut out of this edition, and the next several editions, of ‘the PAPER,’ filled out and deposited at businesses listed below. Or forms can be filled out at the participating merchants.

The first place prize will be $800 and second place will be $500. Third, fourth and fifth place prizes will be $150 each. Sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and 10th place prizes will be $50 each.

Winners of Christmas Bucks can redeem them at any business participating in the contest. It isn’t necessary to make a purchase or be present to win. The drawing will be held at the Milford office of The Papers Monday, Nov. 19.

A second drawing will consist of only advertisers to determine which store owner or manager will be the winner of a $1,000 Bucks prize.
