Grace College To Host Seventh Annual Executive Forum
WINONA LAKE — The Grace College School of Business and the Gordon Institute for Enterprise Development will present the seventh annual Executive Forum “Automation and the Human Experience” on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center, 610 Wooster Road, Winona Lake.
The event, made possible in partnership with Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, includes a continental breakfast beginning at 8 a.m., with the program to follow from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m.
Dr. Jay W. Richards, the New York times best-selling author of “Infiltrated,” “Indivisible,” and “Money, Greed, and God,” will keynote the forum. The distinguished professor, researcher and prolific writer will speak from his most recent book “The Human Advantage: The Future of American Work in the Age of Smart Machines.” Dr. Richards will also offer his perspective as host of “A Force for Good” on EWTN television network and senior fellow at the Discovery Institute.
“We are fortunate to bring Dr. Richards to the forum this year and anticipate that the audience will learn and be challenged through his remarks and the discussion from our panel,” said Dr. Alan Grossnickle, director of the Gordon Institute for Enterprise Development and associate professor of business at Grace College. “It will be an interesting morning as we consider how the prevalence of automation, robotics and artificial intelligence in today’s business world impacts the human experience.”
Rich Haddad, president and CEO of the K21 Health Foundation, will moderate the event. Four panelists will give their unique perspectives on innovation and the human factor in modern business. Panelists will include Rob Marr, president of C&A Tool Engineering in Churubusco; Jeff Ostermann, vice president of performance improvement of Sweetwater Sound in Fort Wayne; Del Craig, CEO of Tom Farms in Leesburg; and Brian Emerick, owner of Micropulse in Columbia City.
The event is open to the public. Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased by visiting www.grace.edu/exforum. This year’s forum is sponsored by RSM US LLP, a leading national assurance, tax and consulting firm with locations in South Bend and Indianapolis.
