WINONA LAKE – Grace’s basketball team will recognize Clint “Clint-Dawg” Johnson on Friday with a special ceremony.

Clint-Dawg is undoubtedly Grace’s No. 1 fan, and the Lancers will honor him for his passionate support on Friday night during the 8 p.m. men’s basketball season opener against Miami-Hamilton.

A special presentation will be made during halftime of Grace’s game on Friday night, and free commemorative “Clint-Dawg” posters will be given to the first 300 fans.

“Clint is synonymous with Grace College. When you think of Grace College, you think of Clint-Dawg,” said Grace Director of Athletics Chad Briscoe. “There is no greater encourager that you’ll find besides Clint. His attitude is infectious, and he has a tremendous impact on our students and in our community. We are thrilled to be able to honor him on Friday night.”
