Community Thanksgiving Service At The Sanctuary
SYRACUSE — The Sanctuary, 10121 SR 13, Syracuse, will host the annual community Thanksgiving service at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18. The event is sponsored by the Syracuse-Wawasee Area Ministerial Association.
The service’s theme is “The Blessing of Thorns.”
“This year, as in the past, the Syracuse Elementary choir will be singing,” said Craig Fritchley, The Sanctuary’s pastor. “Also, in place of a community choir, we are inviting anyone who wants to sing to join the community worship team to lead everyone in three worship songs.
“Practice will be at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, so spread the word.”
Fritchley added, “Unlike other years, we have a community drama team that will be performing a drama to help us remember to be thankful, even when life gives us thorns. You won’t want to miss it.”
