Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
7:22 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, West US 30, west of North CR 875W, Etna Green. Driver: Lucindy K. Ambrose, 60, North Thompson Street, Bourbon. Ambrose’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
6:26 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, US 30, west of North CR 500W, Warsaw. Driver: Jennifer L. Ransbottom, 54, West CR 650N, Etna Green. Ransbottom’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
9:05 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, North Turkey Creek Road, north of East CR 1000N, Syracuse. Drivers: Brandon L. Taylor, 28, West Washington Street, Donaldson; and Preston S. Bartow, 32, North CR 1000E, Cromwell. Taylor’s vehicle rear-ended Bartow’s vehicle. Taylor drove away after the accident and had reportedly been driving to evade police at the time of the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
10:07 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, North Huntington Street, Syracuse. Driver: Angel S. Hardy, 45, EMS T44 Lane, Leesburg. Hardy was making a sharp turn in an alley when the top of her vehicle scraped a low gutter piece of a garage. Damage up to $1,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. A male advised he was sitting in the driver’s seat of his vehicle when a vehicle pulled out of the parking space next to him and that vehicle struck his vehicle. The male stated that the other driver left the scene without information being exchanged. Damage up to $2,500.
3:56 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, East Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Karla L. Rodriguez, 31, East CR 200N, Warsaw. Rodriguez’s vehicle struck another vehicle while Rodriguez was backing out of a parking space. Rodriguez stated she was not aware her vehicle had struck the other vehicle. Rodriguez was arrested for operator never licensed and failure to stop after an accident. Damage up to $5,000.
3:40 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, US 30 and North Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Adam S. Stromatt, 42, East Church Street, Pierceton; and Trent L. Torrez, 24, La Mesa Drive, Fort Wayne. Stromatt’s vehicle rear-ended Torrez’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
