Jail Employee Charged With Sexual Misconduct With Female Inmates
MARSHALL COUNTY — Jeffery Allen Price, 42, Plymouth, has been charged with two counts of sexual misconduct, level 5 felonies, following an investigation of a report of sexual misconduct that was said to have occurred between Price, a jail employee and two female inmates in custody at the time. Price turned himself in to the Marshall County Jail and released after posting a $1,500 cash bond.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department began its investigation after receiving a report that on July 18, 2017, Price, who was assigned to the jail division, had transported two female inmates from the Marshall County Jail to the Rockville Women’s Prison, 811 W. 50, Rockville. The sexual misconduct reportedly occurred while en route to the prison.
During the course of the investigation, both females were located and interviewed. They both identified Price as the jailer involved and provided similar accounts denying sexual intercourse. However, they provided details of other sexual conduct with Price while driving down the road, which they voluntarily participated.
