NORTHWOOD GIRLS 59, LAVILLE 17
Kenzie Bergman and Maddy Payne ran out to quick starts as NorthWood crushed LaVille Monday night at The Pit.
Bergman drilled a trio of bombs and Payne was nails inside for a tough inside-outside threat. Payne scored nine points in the first quarter alone and finished with 20 total points while Bergman would drop four treys and end with 17 points to pace the Panthers.
Reagan Hartman and Kate Rulli each had five points for the Panthers. The defense was also on display, as NorthWood held LaVille to just one field goal in the first quarter, and other than Trynitie Cox’s 11 points, no other Lancer had more than two points in the game.
The NorthWood JV started the night with a 43-24 win over the Lancers.
NorthWood (6-3) will take on Northern Lakes Conference foe Elkhart Memorial at The Pit Friday night.
TRITON 7TH GRADE BOYS 48, ROCHESTER 36
Triton moved to 4-4 with the win at Rochester. Stats for the game were not provided.
TRITON 8TH GRADE BOYS 35, ROCHESTER 34
Triton moved to 6-2 with the win at Rochester. Trent Conley led the Trojans with 13 points and Chandler Westafer came through with nine points in the one-point win.
MILFORD 7TH GRADE BOYS 42, LINCOLN 11
Milford was able to overwhelm Lincoln on the strength of 20 points from Ty Brooks and nine more from Darius Lewis.
LINCOLN 8TH GRADE BOYS 43, MILFORD 28
Brenden Freeman had seven points in the loss for Milford.
SOUTH WHITLEY 6TH GRADE BOYS 20, MILFORD 18
MILFORD 6TH GRADE 10, SOUTH WHITLEY 1
Milford and South Whitley split the two boys games. The ‘A’ game went to to the Whitley County boys, Kosciusko’s dwellers taking the ‘B’ game. Quintin Taylor led Milford in the loss with five points, and five different Warriors had a bucket in the ‘B’ game.
TIPPECANOE VALLEY 8TH GRADE BOYS 35, ARGOS 23
Nolan Cumberland and Tayde Kiser each had six points in the win for the Vikings.
TIPPECANOE VALLEY 7TH GRADE BOYS 37, ARGOS 22
Landon Durkes led the Vikings with 17 points while Wade Jones, Eli Love and Kyler Johnson had four points each.
