Commercial Warehouses Approved By County BZA
WARSAW — Joel Wihebrink’s petition for an exception to allow construction of three commercial warehouses was approved by the Kosciusko County Board of Zoning Appeals during its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, Dec. 11, in Warsaw.
Wihebrink will be swapping some property with the east property owner to square off the construction site on Stoneburner Road, east of Chapman Lake in Plain Township.
Other agenda items included:
• Josh and Lindsay Stalcup were granted a variance to allow a generator to remain as placed at their home on Eastshore Drive, north of Cornelius Road in Turkey Creek Township. They had also asked for an air conditioning unit to remain as placed, but it must be moved to the southeast corner of their house and meet setback requirements as part of an agreement with nearby property owners.
• Jack Cowan was granted an exception to allow a garage to remain as constructed and be added on to and creating an oversized accessory building. He was also granted a variance to allow an attached garage to remain, but a residential deck on the lake side of his home was withdrawn from the petition. The property is located on Ogden Point Road, south of Seth Ward Road in Turkey Creek Township.
• Ruth Masiongale was granted a variance to allow a residence addition, a new deck, on EMS W16A Lane at Webster Lake in Tippecanoe Township.
• Jon and Jennifer Leatherman were granted a variance to permit the construction of a residence addition on EMS B40E Lane in Tippecanoe Township.
