Hill Adds Academic All-American Honor
WINONA LAKE – Alexa Hill earned a spot on the prestigious CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-America Team on Thursday.
Hill was one of seven players named First Team All-America. CoSIDA votes players from a district to national ballot, honoring student-athletes for both athletic and academic achievement.
Hill boasts a 3.98 GPA while performing as one of the top setters in the NAIA. The junior from Huntington, Ind., led the Crossroads League with 10.4 assists per set and finished No. 3 in the NAIA with 1,493 assists.
Hill eclipsed both 2,000 and 3,000 career assists during the 2018 season. Her 3,168 career assists already ranks No. 3 in program history.
The Lady Lancers reached NCCAA Nationals for the second straight season with Hill as the primary setter. Grace finished tied atop its pool at NCCAA Nationals and wrapped up the season with a record of 21-17.
