WARSAW — Bowen Center has received a donation from K21 Health Foundation in honor of Kurt Carlson, Bowen Center, chief executive officer.
The $20,000 gift was presented today by Rich Haddad, K21 Health Foundation, executive director.
Haddad presented the donation in celebration of the K21 Health Foundation’s 20th year of grant-making and as a tribute to the Bowen Center president and CEO, who marked his 30th year at the organization this year.
“It is easy to take for granted we have one of the premier mental health organizations in the Midwest,” said Rich Haddad, K21 Health Foundation, executive director. “It’s a tribute to Kurt’s leadership. We are glad Bowen Center is in our community to help and improve the lives of our residents.”
The check was presented as a surprise to the Bowen Center CEO in front of Bowen Center executive staff.
“I am honored to have moved the K21 Health Foundation to make this gift in my name,” said Carlson. “We are blessed to work with such extraordinary partners like the K21 Health Foundation to help us positively impact the lives of those we serve. We are so grateful for the support we receive.”
