Warsaw Man Arrested After Officers Respond To Report Of Unconscious Male At Local School
SYRACUSE — A Warsaw man was arrested after officers responded to a report of a male slumped over in a vehicle at a local school.
Christopher Charles Castle, 30, 820 Wexford Place, Warsaw, is being charged with possession of a narcotic, a level 6 felony.
On Dec. 4, an officer with the Syracuse Police Department responded to a report of a driver slumped over in a vehicle at Wawasee High School.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, the officer found a male subject, identified as Castle, sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle slouched over the steering wheel with his foot on the brake. The officer administered Narcan to wake Castle.
Castle was transported to the hospital for treatment. Officers conducted an inventory search of Castle’s vehicle and found two plastic bags containing a white residue that field tested positive for cocaine.
Castle has already been arrested and released on his own recognizance. He has an initial hearing at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31.
