Three Join Manchester University Board Of Trustees
NORTH MANCHESTER — Three alumni have joined the Manchester University Board of Trustees.
Audrey Hahn recently retired as chancellor of the Indiana Wesleyan University-National and Global Campus; it oversees all nonresidential IWU services. The Wabash resident graduated from Manchester in 1976 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology.
Her volunteer experiences include serving as vice chairman at the Wabash Church of the Brethren, involvement in the church Music Ministry and as a board member at the Wabash Valley Music Association (Honeywell Center).
Brian Harshberger, South Bend, has worked at AM General LLC for two decades, currently serving as treasurer. He graduated from Manchester in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and in 1991 with a master’s degree in accounting. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.
He has served as a member, vice president and president of the Mental Health Association of Elkhart County.
Nadine S. Pence is executive director of the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion, a center funded by Lilly Endowment Inc., located at Wabash College. The 1976 Manchester graduate lives in Crawfordsville. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Bethany Theological Seminary and a doctorate from the University of Chicago in constructive theology.
Her volunteer experiences include two years with Brethren Volunteer Service. She is a recipient of the Alumni Honor Award, the highest recognition the Alumni Association can bestow on a Manchester graduate.
Trustees serve five-year terms.
