Special Weather Statement For Kosciusko And Surrounding Counties
KOSCIUSKO — A special weather statement has been issued for Kosciusko and surrounding counties.
Although air temperatures have risen above freezing, icy conditions are still being reported on most secondary roads across the area. Motorists are urged to use caution. Slow down and leave plenty of room between you and the next vehicle.
Temperatures will continue to slowly rise through the morning and melt most residual ice on untreated roads and sidewalks by 10 a.m.
A hazardous weather outlook has also been issued for northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.
Today and tonight: There is a chance for light freezing drizzle this evening.
Thursday through Tuesday: Bitterly cold air will return to the area Thursday night into Friday with wind chill values as low as 20 degrees below zero.
