Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

8:10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, East Ryerson Road, east of South CR 750E, Pierceton. Driver: Felicia V. Cleto, 2, Wexford Place, Warsaw. Cleto’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500. 

7:05 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, East Van Buren Street, Leesburg. Driver: Keith A. Everest, 46, West CR 500N, Warsaw. Everest was applying salt to the rear parking area at East Van Buren Street when his vehicle began to slide on the ice-covered parking lot, striking an unoccupied, parked vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

7:27 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Driver: John J. Hoffert, 51, North Binkley Road, Larwill. Hoffert’s vehicle struck a parked vehicle in a parking lot. Damage up to $5,000. 

10:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, East Fort Wayne Street, south of North Harrison Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Heather N. Hale, 35, Lindberg Street, Warsaw; and Abisha Gross, 31, Boys City Drive, Winona Lake. The vehicles collided at the intersection. Damage up to $10,000.
