Paddock Springs, Warsaw, Celebrates Ribbon Cutting
WARSAW — Paddock Springs, of Trilogy Health Services, celebrated a ribbon cutting of their new extended care facility last night, Jan. 24.
Paddock Springs, 2695 Sheldon St., is 15 minutes away from Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Milford. Lakeland opened in 2003 and has served seniors of Kosciusko County for 15 years. But now, Paddock Springs will take over as their senior care provider.
“We are excited to expand our senior health and hospitality offerings in Warsaw in this beautiful new building,” said Randall Bufford, president and CEO of Trilogy. “Each Trilogy campus is built for a single purpose — to provide compassionate customer service, the very best in clinical services and an exceptional quality of life experiences to the communities we serve. Simply put, we believe that our campus is their home and they are our family. We are proud to offer our residents of Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center the opportunity to continue enjoying our five-star amenities and compassionate care in a brand new home.”
Warsaw Mayor Joseph Thallemer was present at the event to welcome Paddock Springs to the community. “I really appreciate your investment in the community. That goes without saying … But I think, more importantly, I really appreciate your commitment to the folks that are going to be out here. I knew you’d build a great building and I knew you’d have great staff. But I’m hearing now, and I’m sure we’ll see, that you’re here because you’re going to care for our citizens.”
David Neff, director of Kosciusko County Senior Services, spoke about the impact Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center has had on area seniors over the years. “Lakeland Rehab, for years, has made the mobile meals in the Milford route. Delicious meals and we took them out every day. I know that sometimes some of their employees were driving the routes when volunteers would not show up. So that was just a great relationship and as we come forward, with what Paddock Springs is doing for Kosciusko County Senior Services, they have sponsored lunches, they have sponsored bingo and prizes … This is just an absolutely fabulous facility. The professionalism displayed by this company is very impressive.”
Resident and Founder’s Club member of Paddock Springs Betty Tudor was invited to perform the ribbon cutting during the event. Before she made the ribbon cutting official, she spoke a few words about the facility. “I just wanted to tell you what kind and caring and confident staff that will be moving up here. I’m just so terribly happy that at last my husband and I will be under the same roof.”
The new campus is complete with 101 beds, many of which are private suites, dining services, numerous courtyards, educational activities, specialized exercise programming and live music. The provided services include assisted living, long-term care, skilled nursing services, respite care, adult day services, short-term rehabilitation, outpatient therapy and specialized memory care services.
Anyone who wishes to see the new campus is invited to an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. this Sunday, Jan. 27.
